In Munich, the last day of Oktoberfest is ends with the tents dimming their lights, and the staff holding sparklers as they say goodbye to their last guests before they celebrate the end of three long weeks of service with well-deserved beers of their own and an evening of feel-good music.
At Golden Age, we are going to celebrate in similar fashion with our Last Pour! The last pour will feature one of our favorites, D.J. J. Malls with fellow collector Rick Janokowski as they present “The Pittsburgh Polka,” a set of all-Pittsburgh made polka 45s that they have collected over the years.
Then at 7p, Katie Simone will be joined with her talented backing band to play “F.M. Gold,” a collection of feel good yacht rock and 70s pop tracks to bring us home with a beautiful sense of Gemütlichkeit.
Golden Age will stay open until 10p, and we are offering 25% off of the tabs of all of our fellow beer-industry workers as they conclude their own Oktoberfest seasons.
Prost!
